I'm changing up this blog a bit! I'll be posting sketches but there will be a twist! You have to BLEND the sketch with a song! I love listening to Sirius radio and The Blend station plays a wonderful "blend" of great songs! So I'll be posting a layout and card sketch ON THE 1ST OF EACH MONTH, and along with it 5 songs to choose from to inspire you. You can let the title inspire you or choose a stanza from the song, or even let the theme of the song inspire you!

Green Page Sept 2

DISCOVER The quote reads:
Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover. (Mark Twain)

I used the negative part of a sticker sheet under the photo and scraps of white paper and put it through my Dymo Labeler to make the journalling strips.

Green Page Sept 1

Hi everyone! Wow, can you believe that it's SEPTEMBER already! Back to school for me next week!!!

Well, last month I posted a card sketch and a card a day for you all. This month I'm going to TRY and post a layout sketch and a layout a day, TRY. I cannot guarantee one EVERY day. I'm afraid to, because of being back to work and getting things organized at school for the new year. But I'll try and I may be able to pull it off!
But...there's a twist this month with my layouts! Every layout will have at least one recycled item on it! I'll post what the items are every time.

Here's the first one for you.

I'M TALLER THAN YOU In this layout I used a small piece of cardboard from packaging and created a layer for my flower.
