Card Sketch Reveal and Challenge Feb 15th

Hi Everyone, I'm not sure if you've heard, but Deanne has had a tragedy in her family so to allow her to focus her husband and sons I have offered to take over this months reveals. I'm sure you'll all join me in sending thoughts and prayers Deanne's way and understand while she takes some time to grieve...

PS I need to say thank you to the girls for getting all their cards in on time  (Especially since I know some of them have been snowed in or had kids home unexpectedly due to snow days etc!) It has made this so much easier for me, I have a new found respect for challenge coordinators and the work that Deanne puts into doing these reveals!

Introducing myself

Hi, I'm Zarna, part of the layout DT and Deanne's blog assistant so I thought I better pop by and intoduce myself since I'll be posting here from time to time.

I have been a scrapbooker for about 5 years, but since my kids arrived on the scene - Charlotte 2yrs (pictured with me above) & Jack 4mths - I have found I make more cards, crazy right? Since kids are the best excuse for scrapbooking, but smaller canvas means (generally) quicker project for my limited crafting time. So I'm looking forward to telling DH that I have "work to do" and hide away at my craft desk to make some layouts for JSM & The Blend.

Speaking of making layouts for JSM & The Blend I should mention that Deanne has sent out the first set of songs & sketches to the DT and we are hard at work getting our layouts ready to share with you on Feb 1st so make sure you come back and check it out! I promise you won't be disappointed! It's a beautiful sketch and there are so many possibilities for inspiration from this month's songs!!!

I have the Design Team picked..

and ,boy, I wanted EVERYONE on MY team!!! I'm greedy!!! hehe! But I had to narrow it down so as to not get myself bogged down, and have chosen 9 card team members and 9 layout team members. I have heard from some so far, but not sure if I'll make the announcement tomorrow or not.It depends on if I hear from them. I MAY be able to do it later tomorrow evening.So be watching.
